Support PHI’s “Direct-Care Workers Fund”

As part of PHI’s mission, we work to include the voices of direct-care workers in our advocacy and policy-related activities. Home health care aides and nursing assistants participate in Congressional briefings, conferences, skills-building workshops, multi-stakeholder coalitions such as the Direct Care Alliance, and a variety of other activities devoted to building leadership skills and ensuring that the voices of frontline health care workers are heard in the policy arena.

You can help to ensure that direct-care workers have a place at the table, by donating to the Direct Care Workers Fund. All donations support the travel and related expenses (transportation, lodging, meals, and lost wages) of direct-care workers who are leading the effort to create a stable, committed, and well-trained workforce across the long-term care continuum.
