Opposition to plaintiffs’ motion to stay mandate pending filing of petition for writ of certiorari

A response from the U.S. Department of Labor in opposition to the plaintiffs’ motion to stay a federal appeals court’s August 2015 decision in the case Home Care Association of America v. Weil. In its decision, the court ruled that the DOL acted within its authority when it finalized a rule change extending minimum-wage and overtime pay protections to home care workers.
