Webinars Rescheduled for Home Care Final Rule

While the initial schedule was disrupted due to the federal shutdown, the Department of Labor has released an updated schedule of five webinars related to its final rule expanding minimum wage and overtime protections to home care workers.

Northeast Region (ME, NH, VT, MA, RI, CT, NY, PA, NJ, DE, MD, DC, VA, WV, PR): Thursday, October 31, from 1:00-2:30 pm ET

Western Region (AZ, NV, CA, OR, WA, ID, HI, AK): Tuesday, November 5, from 10:00-11:30 am PT

Midwest Region (OH, MI, IN, IL, WI, MN, IA, MO, NE, KS): Thursday, November 7, from 12:00-1:30 pm CT

Southeast Region (KY, TN, NC, SC, GA, FL, AL, MS): Tuesday, November 12, from 2:00-3:30 pm Eastern Time, 1:00-2:30 CT

Southwest and Mountain Regions (LA, TX, AR, OK, NM, CO, WY, UT, MT, ND, SD): Thursday, November 14, from 2:00-3:30 pm CT, 1:00-2:30 MT

Those interested in participating should register for the webinar in advance at the DOL website.

The presentations will be closed-captioned and will be available to download during the webinar. In addition, the entire presentation, including audio, will be available to download after session has ended.
