The National Network of Career Nursing Assistants (NNCNA) in Akron, Ohio, is sponsoring the 37th Annual National Nursing Assistants Week, which will take place this June 12-19.
June 12, the opening day of Nursing Assistants Week, will be recognized as National Career Nursing Assistants Day. A planning guide to help celebrate the day is available at the NNCNA website.
The website also features a guide to promoting and honoring the entire week with activities and projects.
According to a PHI analysis, there were more than 1.4 million nursing assistants working in the U.S. in 2013.
