PANEL DISCUSSION: How Women Have Transformed Long-Term Care

April 25, 2013

Experts will talk about the role that women have played in improving the U.S. long-term care system during a May 7 panel discussion in Washington, DC.

Caring Across Generations (CAG) is organizing the discussion.

Panelists will include both consumers and providers of long-term care, who will talk about why long-term care reform disproportionately affects women.

They will also discuss the work that still needs to be done to ensure affordable and accessible long-term care for all Americans.

The discussion will begin at 9:30 am at the Russell Senate Office Building. For more information, email Gabi Huesca at ghuesca@rabengroup.com.

Following the discussion, CAG will host an afternoon of advocacy on Capitol Hill. Delegates will be given the chance to discuss long-term care issues with policymakers.

For information on how to join these advocacy efforts, send an email to Jasmine Major at jasmine@caringacrossgenerations.org.
