Aspen Institute Discussion on Minimum Wage Available Online

A March 15 Aspen Institute panel discussion about raising the minimum wage is available to watch online.

The discussion, entitled “Raising the Minimum Wage: A Different Approach to the Jobs Problem,” was moderated by Roben Farzad, a Bloomberg Businessweek contributor.

The panelists were:

  • Nick Hanauer, entrepreneur and venture capitalist, Second Avenue Partners
  • Christine Owens, executive director, National Employment Law Project
  • Heidi Shierholz, economist, Economic Policy Institute
  • Ron Unz, publisher, The American Conservative

The discussion was the first in an Aspen Institute series titled Working in America, which will focus on ideas and policies to improve opportunities for American workers.

Working in America receives support from the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation and the Ford Foundation.
