DISCUSSION: Improving Quality of Home and Community-Based Care

An October 9 panel discussion in Washington, D.C. will gather long-term care policy experts to discuss ways to improve home and community-based care while keeping it affordable.

PHI Director of Policy Research Abby Marquand will be one of the experts presenting at the event, which was organized by the Alliance for Health Reform with support from the Centene Corporation.

Other speakers include:

  • Anne Montgomery, senior policy analyst, Altarum Institute
  • Bea-Alise Rector, director of home and community services, Washington State Department of Social and Health Services
  • Jean Accius, director of health and long-term supports and services policy, AARP

Sarah Dash of the Alliance for Health Reform and Centene’s Michael Monson will co-moderate the discussion.
