November 14, 2013

Professional and family caregivers are invited to share their stories at a November 16 listening session organized by the New Mexico Direct Caregivers Coalition (NMDCC).

Caregivers will be encouraged to talk about their experiences regarding a range of issues, from receiving adequate training and credentialing to earning respect in the workplace.

Caregiver advocates and agency staff are also encouraged to attend.

The event will take place from 10 a.m. to noon at Las Placitas Presbyterian Church in Placitas, New Mexico. Attendance is free and registration is not required.
