Reverses a lower court’s decision to vacate a Department of Labor (DOL) rule change that extended minimum-wage and overtime protections to home care workers. In the decision, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit ruled that the DOL acted within its authority by extending the protections to home care workers, who had previously been exempt under the terms of the federal Fair Labor Standards Act.
