PHI to Be Featured at Pioneer Network Conference

May 30, 2013

PHI will be well represented at the upcoming Pioneer Network National Conference, which will be held August 11-15 in Bellevue, Washington.

On August 12, the first full day of the conference, members of the PHI Coaching & Consulting Services (CCS) team will lead two all-day “intensive” sessions.

CCS Director Susan Misiorski will join Joanne Rader of Rader Consulting in conducting the “Getting Started on Your Culture Change Journey” intensive. Misiorski and Rader will draw on their years of first-hand experience and expertise to help guide culture-change newcomers along the path to individualized, person-centered care.

Meanwhile, PHI Organizational Change Consultants Cean Eppelheimer and Kathy McCollett will lead an intensive examining “The Leader’s Role in Times of Transition in Healthcare.”

In this session, Eppelheimer and McCollett will advise leaders of care organizations on how best to handle mergers or partnerships with other organizations that may not share the same values.

In addition, PHI staff will lead two other shorter sessions. On August 13, Misiorski will look at “What Matters Most” to elders in terms of their quality of life; then, on August 14, Eppelheimer and McCollett will provide a brief introduction to the PHI Coaching ApproachSM.

PHI Communications Director Karen Kahn will also be on hand to provide participants with information on PHI at the PHI vendor booth.

Registration for the conference is available online.
