This case study traces the early development of Quality Care Partners, a home care cooperative, and its entry into the marketplace. Initiated as a sectoral development project, in Manchester, New Hampshire, the study documents the lessons learned in the areas of building partnerships, acquiring financing, identifying markets, identifying leadership, and developing customer demand.
