Registration Opens for Upcoming Consumer Voice Conference

July 23, 2014

The Consumer Voice’s 38th Annual Conference will be held from November 15-18 in Arlington, Virginia.

The theme for this year’s conference is “Care Matters: Opening the Door to Quality.”

According to a preliminary agenda (pdf) published on the Consumer Voice website, some of the topics addressed will include:

  • Trends in the caregiving workforce
  • Nursing home transitions
  • Long-term care financing
  • Crafting an effective advocacy message

The conference’s opening plenary will focus on a recently launched Consumer Voice initiative that focuses on the importance of nursing home staffing.

The Consumer Voice works to support policies and practices that improve the quality of the U.S. long-term care system — including better jobs and training for direct-care workers.

Registration for the conference is available on the Consumer Voice website.
