Self-Determination and the MI Choice Medicaid Waiver Program

This report presents survey results related to Michigan direct care workers serving people using MI Choice’s self-determination option. Information on workers’ demographic characteristics is included in the report. Additionally, workers were asked about their wages, benefits, and job satisfaction. The report develops strategies for recruitment and retention based on these survey responses.
