WEBINAR: Transforming Health Care Workforce to Meet Changing Needs

April 1, 2014

An upcoming webinar will examine how the health care workforce must be transformed in order to better align with the needs of a constantly transforming health care system.

Participants will examine “new and emerging roles for health workers and the challenge to reshape the education and training system to deliver new competencies to the workforce,” according to the website of the Health Workforce Technical Assistance Center (HWTAC), which is hosting the webinar.

The webinar will be conducted by Erin Fraher, PhD, MPP, director of the University of North Carolina‘s Program on Health Workforce Research and Policy.

The hour-long webinar will take place April 9 at 2 p.m. EST. Registration is not required.

The HWTAC is based at the University at Albany‘s School of Public Health. Previous HWTAC webinars are archived online.
