The U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) is recognizing Work and Family Month by hosting a Twitter chat on October 21.
Latifa Lyles, director of the DOL Women’s Bureau, and Avra Siegel, director of strategic partnerships and public policy at Care.com, will be on hand to answer questions about “everything work and family related,” the DOL website says.
Specific topics that are expected to come up include paid leave and striking an appropriate life-work balance.
The chat will begin at 2 p.m. EST. To participate, use the hashtag #WorkAndFamily.
