Iowa Caregivers Conference Scheduled for August

“Passport to Direct Care” is theme of the 2015 Iowa Caregivers Conference, which will be held August 24 and 25 in Altoona, Iowa.
Direct-care workers and family caregivers are encouraged to attend the conference, which will provide an “all-inclusive package of support, information, education, networking, and fun,” according to the conference’s brochure (pdf).
The conference will feature workshops on dementia care, dealing with death and grief, and disease prevention, among many others.
Registration information is available online. Early-bird registration for the conference ends on August 10.
