June CCS Newsletter Highlights Culture Change Initiative

June 27, 2012

The June issue of the PHI Coaching & Consulting Services (CCS) Newsletter features an article about Take It On For Mom, an initiative designed to inform consumers about the benefits of culture change.

Program director Rose Marie Fagan said that the initiative’s goal is to spark broad consumer interest in culture change, which will in turn create a demand for long-term care services that embody culture change values.

Fagan also stressed the critical role that direct-care workers play in any culture change endeavor.

Additionally, the CCS newsletter reports on a recent study about the benefits of cohesion among nursing home staff. The study found that care quality is greater among staff who feel more connected with their co-workers.
