Long-Term Care Journal Publishes Article on Building Direct-Care Workforce

The August 2012 issue of Annals of Long-Term Care includes an article (pdf) on the past, present, and future of direct-care workforce-related policies.
The article was based on a talk given by Steven Dawson, the president of PHI, and Nancy Lundebjerg and Jennie Chin Hansen, the chief operating officer and chief executive officer, respectively, of the American Geriatrics Society.
The talk was originally presented at the 2012 American Society on Agingconference, which was based on the eldercare workforce-themed Winter 2010-11 issue of Generations.
