U.S. Department of Labor

Advises governors to prepare to comply with the in-limbo federal rule change that would guarantee minimum wage and overtime protections to home care workers for the first time. The Department of Labor promulgated the rule in October 2013, but its implementation was blocked by a federal judge in January 2015.
