Clarifies the ways that nursing homes can facilitate residents’ wishes to consume food brought in from the outside or grown in a garden while still adhering to culture change principles. This regulatory clarification is part of the One Vision: Moving Forward project, which seeks to resolve questions and obstacles as Michigan’s nursing homes implement person-centered practice sand other changes to their caregiving culture.
