Proposal 4 — Services needed by people and communities
November 2, 2012
PHI Michigan
Endorses a ballot proposal in Michigan that would amend the state constitution to guarantee certain long-term care supports and services to elders and people with disabilities. The proposal would re-establish a matching registries service in the states, which would allow people who need home care to easily find qualified workers. It would also give home care workers the right to unionize, althought they would not be required to do so.
