Early COVID-19 First-Dose Vaccination Coverage Among Residents and Staff Members of Skilled Nursing Facilities Participating in the Pharmacy Partnership for Long-Term Care Program

This study looked at vaccination rates in participating sites between December 2020 and January 2021. Almost 80% of residents in participating facilities received at least the first dose of the vaccine during that time. Conversely, almost 40% of workers received at least one vaccine dose, showing room for improvement in outreach to workers.
