Upcoming Online Training Series Focuses on Person-Centered Care

January 31, 2013

Culture change experts will discuss how organizational leaders can promote the values of person-centered care in an upcoming online-training series developed by the Eden Alternative and presented in association with the Pioneer Network.

Entitled “Facilitative Leadership,” the five-part online training series begins on either February 12 or February 14 (there are two training groups). Registration for both groups is still available.

“Facilitative leadership is about engaging others,” the Eden Alternative’s website says. “Successful person-directed care depends on leadership’s ability to leverage each person’s individual strengths in developing a shared organizational vision.”

Webinars Feature PHI Experts

Additionally, four single-topic “feature webinars” will be held monthly, beginning with the February 19 webinar, “Facilitating Effective Communication & Conflict Resolution.”

Two PHI staff members — Coaching & Consulting Services National Director Susan Misiorski and Organizational Change Consultant Cean Eppelheimer — will be among the five panelists at this first webinar in the series.

The webinar will focus on developing effective communication and conflict-resolution guidelines that help empower all members of an organization.

Other webinars will concentrate on “appreciating diversity” and “facilitating life passions.”
