WEBINAR: PHI State Date Center to Be Explored

November 19, 2013

The Direct Service Workforce Resource Center at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services is hosting a webinar to explain the features of the recently updated PHI State Data Center, the first web-based tool to provide comprehensive, state-by-state profiles of the direct-care workforce.

The latest state-by-state wage, employment, and demographic data available on nursing home aides, home health aides, and personal care aides is readily available on the site, as well as information on legislation/regulation and notable initiatives in each state.

The newest features on the site, including downloadable charts that can be shared through social media, and descriptions of state training standards for each direct-care occupation (where they exist), will be highlighted.

The webinar will be held:

Monday, December 9

3:00-4:30 PM ET

PHI Associate Director of Policy Research Abby Marquand, who assisted in the development of the PHI State Data Center, and PHI National Policy Director Steve Edelstein will guide webinar participants through the website.

There is no fee to participate but online registration is required.

An option to participate by audio conference is also available.
