Arizona Organizations to Celebrate Direct-Care Workers

The sixth annual Direct Care Workers of Arizona Conference and Celebration will be held on September 25 in Tucson.

The event is being hosted by the Arizona Gerontological Nursing Association in collaboration with the Arizona Direct Care Worker Association.

It will feature learning sessions throughout the day on topics such as managing the challenges of Alzheimer’s and the importance of staying mentally and physically fit.

Participants can register at the door for $20.

The day-long event begins at 8 a.m. and will be held at the Hotel Tucson City Center.
