Discussion on Long-Term Care Models to Be Held in DC

Hari Sreenivasan of the PBS NewsHour will lead a participatory discussion entitled “Global and Regional Models for Long-Term Care — Can They Work Nationally?

The event will be held on November 4 from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. in Washington, DC.

After examining different long-term care models, a discussion will take place to “reflect” on the Commission on Long-Term Care‘s recently released final report and recommendations and highlight “potential solutions” to the growing demand for long-term care in the United States.

The event is sponsored by The SCAN Foundation whose president and chief executive officer, Bruce Chernof, M.D., is chair of the Commission.
