Discussion on Long-Term Care Models to Be Held in DC
Hari Sreenivasan of the PBS NewsHour will lead a participatory discussion entitled “Global and Regional Models for Long-Term Care — Can They Work Nationally?“
The event will be held on November 4 from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. in Washington, DC.
After examining different long-term care models, a discussion will take place to “reflect” on the Commission on Long-Term Care‘s recently released final report and recommendations and highlight “potential solutions” to the growing demand for long-term care in the United States.
The event is sponsored by The SCAN Foundation whose president and chief executive officer, Bruce Chernof, M.D., is chair of the Commission.
“Global and Regional Models for Long-Term Care — Can They Work Nationally?” is produced by MacNeil/Lehrer Productions in association with the PBS NewsHour.
