Families USA Seeks Stories on ACA Benefits

Families USA has launched the “I Am the Heart of ObamaCare” campaign to share stories on how the Affordable Care Act (ACA) helps individuals and families gain access to quality, affordable health care.

The campaign aims to remind people that ACA is about improving the health care system so that everyone has access to quality care.

Today, nearly one million direct-care workers lack health coverage (pdf).

PHI encourages direct-care workers and employers to submit stories on how the ACA benefits them today (pdf) and will improve their access to health care when Medicaid eligibility expansion, state insurance exchanges, and insurance subsidies (pdf) are implemented.
