As we reflect on what we are grateful for on this Thanksgiving, let’s remember the more than 4 million invaluable direct-care workers who provide long-term services and supports to our nation’s elders and people living with disabilities.
Another reason to be thankful is the new Department of Labor rule published this year to extend home care workers federal labor protections beginning in 2015.
