Presidential Candidates Will Address Aging Issues at Upcoming Forum

February 12, 2016

Presidential candidates will have the opportunity to talk about long-term care, Medicare, and other issues important to older Americans at Seniors Decide 2016, sponsored by the Leadership Council of Aging Organizations.

The event, which will take place at 2:30 p.m. on February 17, will be livestreamed on the Seniors Decide website. Viewers are encouraged to sign up beforehand to signify their interest in the forum.

A recording of the event will also be available online after its conclusion.

“Civic-minded older Americans make up an increasingly larger proportion of the electorate, particularly in presidential election years,” the website says. “Truly, seniors will play a decisive role in determining who America’s next President will be.”

Questions for the candidates are currently being solicited through the Seniors Decide website.
