Invisible No More: A Scoping Review of the Health Care Aide Workforce Literature

From a search of seven bibliographic databases, this article identifies and evaluates 82 relevant studies on the home care workforce published since 1995. Domains discussed include: home care education, workforce supply and demand, home care worker roles, and illness and injury in the workforce.
