May 12, 2015

The SEIU Healthcare NW Training Partnership, a nonprofit school that trains home care workers in Washington State, will be the focus of a May 19 webinar hosted by the Aspen Institute‘s Workforce Strategies Initiative (WSI).

Founded in 2007, the Training Partnership has trained approximately 45,000 home care workers per year, according to a case study published by WSI in March.

Other presenters during the webinar include:

  • Charissa Raynor, executive director of the SEIU 775 Benefits Group,
  • Leslie Kennedy, a home and community-based services program manager at Washington’s Aging and Long-Term Support Administration, and
  • Bea Rector, Director of Home and Community Services at Washington’s Department of Social and Health Services

More information about the webinar is available online.
