WEBINAR: Performing a Geriatric Assessment

August 13, 2014

Geriatrics experts will present a webinar about assessing elders’ physical and mental well-being on August 28.

The webinar, entitled “Geriatric Assessment,” will explain how to quickly perform the assessment in order to identify areas that require greater focus. The evaluation is based on best practices from throughout the geriatric-care field.

The webinar will also detail the various ways that elders’ care needs, once determined, can be addressed.

Participants will have time to interact with presenters in a Q&A sessions.

“Health professionals in all care settings and disciplines” are invited to join the webinar, according to the website of the Medicare-Medicaid Coordination Office, a component of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).

CMS is hosting the webinar in collaboration with The Lewin Group, Community Catalyst, and the American Geriatrics Society.
