Advocates Urged to Call Congress about Older Americans Act

The Leadership Council of Aging Organizations is asking advocates for quality eldercare to call their members of Congress on May 13-14 to urge them reauthorize the Older Americans Act (OAA).

The OAA was last reauthorized in 2006, and expired in 2011.

Advocates are asked to call their senators and representatives at 888-277-8686.

The website of the National Council on Aging includes a suggested script that advocates can deliver to their members of Congress.
