JAMDA Vol. 15, Issue 9 – Elsevier
Examines the growing prevalence of person-centered care in nursing homes, and discusses how that momentum can be maintained throughout the U.S. long-term care system. The authors highlight a newly developed toolkit for evaluating person-centeredness in nursing homes, but note that person-centered care “is not evidenced by completed toolkit worksheets; rather, it should be demonstrated by observable changes in daily care practice.”
