Neighborhood Trust Financial Partners

Neighborhood Trust Financial Partners (“Neighborhood Trust”) is one of the nation’s leading providers of financial empowerment services and products. Their mission is to empower low-income individuals to become productive participants in the U.S. financial system and achieve their financial goals.

PHI, in collaboration with Cooperative Home Care Associates (CHCA), has partnered extensively with Neighborhood Trust on financial literacy and other support initiatives for home care workers. Since 2013, we have worked with Neighborhood Trust to implement an “employer solution” program that integrates various financial tools and decision supports into CHCA’s operations, such as split direct deposit accounts. As part of this engagement, Neighborhood Trust delivers trainings on basic personal finance concepts to all graduates of PHI’s and CHCA’s entry-level home health aide training program, provides free onsite financial advisement, and offers workers access to a variety of online financial planning tools. PHI has also supported Neighborhood Trust in bringing their approach to other home care agencies, including the Jewish Association Serving the Aged (JASA).
